Las Vegas Juvenile Probation First To Use Predictive Intelligence in the Field

Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 — Clark County Nevada’s Department of Juvenile Justice Services is deploying mobile risk prevention technology, becoming the nation’s first Probation Department to equip Officers with predictive intelligence in the field.

This dynamic mobile system developed by GoldPost Technologies, Inc. (GPT), allows Probation Officers the ability to manage their clients based on feeds that can be as important as a client’s recidivism risk, allowing officers the chance to react quickly to these alerts.
[pullquote align=”right”]“Staying abreast of information anytime and anywhere is critical to improving outcomes for departments like Clark County, responsible for community safety and supervision.”[/pullquote]
As the industry’s first mobile application designed for critical real-time recidivism management, GPT’s patent pending Linked Expert System Via Remote Interface (LynxVRI™), provides predictive intelligence and risk analyses via live feeds like GPS monitoring, school attendance, arrest alerts, and case plan progress. Officers also have the ability to access and update offender case information from the field, including everything from routine to emergency communications.

“Not only will Clark County Juvenile Probation Officers be able to respond to the highest risk offenders first, LynxVRI™ allows Officers to spend more time in the field helping clients and less time in the office managing files,” added Rouse.

Survey: Mobile Technology is the Future of Monitoring Released Inmates

In a just released survey, an overwhelming number of Probation and Parole Professionals said their departments are implementing mobile technology to aid in the monitoring of offenders in their community. Officers say receiving information in the field through live feeds and alerts is critical to their ability to manage probationers while keeping communities safe.

Probation and Parole Officers are implementing mobile technology to aid in the monitoring of offenders in their community. In a just released survey, taken by GoldPost Technologies, Inc. (GPT), a Nevada based Mobile Development Company, an overwhelming number of respondents say their departments are implementing technology to receive information on offenders in the field. Live feeds such as GPS Mapping, Offender Arrests, Toxicology Reports and other alerts are critical to their ability to manage probationers while keeping communities safe.

Of the responding counties who say they are currently deploying, budgeting, or seriously considering making mobile technology a part of monitoring their caseload, Case Management was ranked the mobile feed which would be of highest value in the field, with Live GPS mapping the next most valuable.

Fifty-nine percent of the survey respondents represented departments with a ratio of 76 or more offenders to each officer, and 36 percent were exceeding 100 clients per officer. Sixty-five percent of respondents came from departments responsible for over 1,000 offenders and 20% monitored between 251 and 1000 offenders. leaving just 15% working with less than 250 clients.

[pullquote align=”left”]“it’s no wonder that the majority of departments are looking toward mobile technology.”[/pullquote]“With the influx of probationers and parolees across the country, it’s no wonder that the majority of departments are looking toward mobile technology to monitor their probationers”, said Glenn Rouse, GPT’s Vice President of Sales.

Of the 33% that are not currently deploying mobile technology to monitor offenders, they say their departments are seriously considering information mobility, but there is concern over the cost of a solution and available funding to pay for the service. Other concerns include information security and executive level buy-in.

Real-Time Probation Technology Monitors Early-Release Inmates

Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) —  Until recently, the best technology available to monitor post-release inmates came in the form of GPS tracking, and file management. Now ProbeSmart™, a mobile tablet and app developed by GoldPost Technologies,Inc (GPT), is delivering those features along with critical technological advancements like risk analysis, prioritizing high-risk clients automatically. More importantly, ProbeSmart™ gives Probation Officers this crucial data anytime, anywhere, via tablet or Smart Phone app directly to the field.

Utilizing risk assessment algorithms and other patented data feeds, ProbeSmart™ prioritizes and highlights a probation officer’s case load, noting high-risk clients due to immediate or previously occurring violations such as: Exclusion Zone Violation, Failed Drug Test, Curfew Violation, Missed Court Hearing or Notice of Arrest. As an administrative tool, ProbeSmart™ allows for the ability to update client files in the field with notes, voice recordings, photos and other important details.

ProbeSmart™ is obviously a cost-effective solution too. “Not only is it a fraction of what incarceration costs,” says Barry Goldstein, GPT’s President, “with ProbeSmart™, Field Officers can track more probationers in far less time.”

[pullquote align=”right”]“Utilizing risk assessment algorithms, ProbeSmart™ prioritizes a Probation Officers case load, highlighting high-risk clients at the top.”[/pullquote]ProbeSmart’s™ capabilities are endless, and include features like cell phone pinging to obtain a client’s current location, and community resources available to help reduce recidivism. “Getting non-violent offenders back into the community and using ProbeSmart™ technology to safely monitor probationers is a win for everyone,” continues Goldstein. Innovative Virtual Check-In from Gold Post Technologies Addresses Jail Overcrowding

LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The influx of parolees from Public Safety Realignment strategies across the country is the motivation behind the patent pending technology of a Virtual Monitoring System. The innovative device from Gold Post Technologies, Inc., delivers electronic probation supervising utilizing live streaming, pattern tracking, and risk assessment platforms, providing an alternative to the high cost of incarceration. “We incorporated the best technology available and developed a cost-effective solution that would ease the concerns of law enforcement and the community,” said Barry Goldstein, President, Gold Post Technologies, Inc.

[pullquote align=”right”]“We incorporated the best technology available and developed a cost-effective solution that would ease the concerns of law enforcement and the community[/pullquote] Using the handheld device, the probationer is able to virtually “check-in” with their probation officer via photo technology and through customized on-screen prompts. The video report and accompanying data, now tagged with GPS and other essential information, is available for review and monitoring by staff anytime. Additionally urgent information can be relayed to the probationer, which is not currently available with any other system.

Upon full implementation, the addition of highly advanced facial data analysis will provide user confirmation, track and assess activity of the individual reporting, and alert parole officers if the program fails to confirm true identity. Most critically, law enforcement agencies can access this technology in the field to identify and assess an individual’s probation and criminal status along with real time crime data at any given location.

The financial savings are clear, with monitoring staff’s ability to track more probationers for far less than what the current system costs. And with remote check-ins, individuals can be tracked and monitored around the clock, seven days a week.
